The rapid industrial and economic development runs on fossil fuel other energy sources. Limited oil reserves, environmental issues, high transportation costs lead towards carbon unbiased renewable sustainable fuel. Compared to carbon-based fuels, biodiesel is attracted worldwide as a biofuel for the reduction of global dependence fuels greenhouse effect. During production, approximately 10% glycerol formed in transesterification process plant. ditching crude important it contains salt, free fatty acids, methanol that cause contamination soil creates challenges researchers. However, excessive cost refining market capacity encourage industries developing new idea utilising produced extra sources income treat waste. This review focuses significance value-added utilisation conversion bioethanol by fermentation describes opportunities various applications.
